Description
Here is the detail shot of the knife for our cake cutting set.
Basically I bought a $10 set from Walmart and I sawed off the plastic part and removed the metal knife and server. Then I attach armature wire to them and wrapped them in aluminum foil to bulk it out and make them more sturdy, and then went away sculpting. The only thing I wish I changed is that instead of getting ones with pastic handle I got a simple set that was metal all the way through. They wiggle a bit but I made sure with the wire that they wont come out unless you literally break them in half.
Materials: Super Sculpey, wire, foil, ribbon, painted with Inca Gold, Cadmium Red (deep hue), True Red, White and Black.
The grey was made with red, black, white and gold, so it simmers slightly depending on the angle.
